Conners Creek Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Management Project

| Benefit: | Conners Creek is Michigans largest CSO outfall. DWSD completed a $187 million disinfection basin at the head of Conners Creek capable of storing 30 million gallons of waste water. The project included the dredging of the creek and the rehabilitation of a portion of Detroit River shoreline, creating a fish habitat (6, 7, 10, 14, 15) |
