Windsor's Pesticide By-Law
In 2006, the City of Windsor passed a by-law relating to pesticides used for cosmetic purposes. From 2006 to 2008 certain limitations were placed on the use of pesticides to provide an opportunity for residents to find pesticide-free alternatives. In 2009, an Ontario-wide ban on the use of cosmetic pesticides came into effect.
